How can I join you?
If you are new to Nordic walking and have not been previously trained by an instructor you will need to attend a Beginner Workshop before joining any of our walks. Book your Beginner Workshop with us today. It costs £15 and that includes your first hour-long Nordic walk for free.
How fit do I have to be?
Our Nordic walking classes are suitable for most fitness levels, but you will need to be a confident walker. The terrain we cover is a mix of flat ground, hills, grass, tarmac and track.
Do I need Nordic walking poles?
We supply Nordic walking poles on all our walks for free. But if you are enjoying Nordic walking we do recommend you buy your own poles. If you own trekking/hiking poles they are different to NW poles so please leave them at home.
What should I wear when Nordic walking?
Please wear suitable footwear – walking shoes or boots with a good tread are best and open toe shoes or sandals are not suitable. Dress appropriately for the weather and it’s good to wear a few thin layers so that if you get warm you can remove them as needed. Some people like to bring a small backpack or bum-bag to carry keys, water etc.
How do I pay for my Nordic walks?
- You can buy 5, 10 or 15 prepaid Nordic walks which last 6 months
